Our cousin C (with some assistance from his son, Monkey's second cousin D) is helping us fix up some things to get our house ready to sell, and while things were drying Mr. Z and Monkey took them to the St. Patrick's Day parade. It was not quite as warm as this. Sigh. Mrs. Z was at the doctor's office getting yet another antibiotic so she was not able to go. The kids had a great time, though.

Mourning
Grandma K passsed away last week after a long struggle with multiple sclerosis. We are so glad that she was able to see Monkey and talk with him several times in the weeks before her death. We wish we had pictures of them together.
Monkey was amazingly well-behaved throughout the services but now that all the family and guests have gone home we all have nasty head colds and he is falling apart a little bit. As are we all, really. Not unexpected, but certainly not the most fun either. We are looking forward to getting back into our normal routines and seeing some sunshine in the days ahead.
A few weeks back Mrs. Z knit a scarf (or cowl, if you will) for Monkey. He was kind enough to model for Mrs. Z's knitting documentation. We hope he doesn't need it much longer.
